Who We Are:
We are a group of homeschool families seeking to enhance our home education experience through the opportunities and support of a Christian cooperative. It is our desire to be a valuable asset to new and continuing home educators alike.
What We Believe:
Leaders and teachers who are part of our organization uphold a Biblical Christian worldview. A Biblical worldview includes the belief that the Bible is the total accurate book that God has given us to teach us about who He is and who we are. The Bible, in concert with the Holy Spirit, guides and empowers us to live lives pleasing to God.
Until the spring of 2013, we were known as H.A.T.C.H (Hudson Area Teaching Christian Homes). Because our co-op now meets in Lakeland, Minnesota, the name has been changed to reflect the broader St. Croix Valley area that is being served. We now serve grades 1-12. The Elementary HATCH co-op continues to meet in Hudson, Wisconsin.
When We Meet:
Most of our weekly classes are on Mondays between 8:30 and 4:00, while some classes meet weekly on Wednesdays (for example, writing classes, elementary art, and elementary science classes). Various other activities and events are offered throughout the year.
Where We Are Located:
Our students and their families live throughout the St. Croix Valley. Our classes are held at: Valley Baptist Church, 860 St. Croix Trail South, Lakeland, MN, 55043. Church website: myvalleybaptistchurch.com
